"Kind of like a drug (in the best way). You can't put it down, it makes you feel good, and the imagery gives an almost realistic mental image allowing you to be deeply sucked into a magical and interesting world. It had me from the prologue and kept me coming back! It's written beautifully and balanced, combining intense and specific descriptions as well as action and plot. A little J.R.R. Tolkein meets Shannon Hale. A very well-written book!"
